I attached a bronze filigree fan to a recycled 40 caliber silver bullet shell casing and then added a tiny dark red blown glass stone. I then added a natural red hematite quartz phantom crystal and a 24 inch gunmetal chain.

Hematite quartz can help with problem solving by stimulating the creative thought process. It gives a sense of tranquility and order that aids in working out differences between people as well. It calms emotions such as anxiety and and can assist in raising self esteem. Hematite enhances focus, optimism, trust, and balance. Combined with quartz, these crystals provide grounding and stability to many situations.

Phantom quartz has lighter or darker inclusions inside a clear crystal that reveal the earlier layers from the beginning of the formation. A phantom crystal is created when the growth is interrupted, a thin dusting of another mineral such as hematite or chlorite settles on the terminated point, and then the crystal resumes its growth. The crystal eventually displays one or more layers of these mineral deposits resembling a point. Each layer represents a different stage in the crystal's growth, and each stage can last for hundreds of thousands of years.
